Ii. Insurance terms and scope

Vanpac GroupAsia all risks start from the professional packaging of the goods at the place of shipment and cover the whole transportation process, including transfer, until the goods arrive at the final destination, the outer packing is removed, the assembly is completed and the owner accepts the goods. Please refer to the insurance regulations for specific matters.

Iii. Insurance regulations:

1. All articles must be insured

Each item to be transported must be covered by the insurance. Vanpac GroupAsia does not accept individual coverage for some items.

2. The packaging shall be approved by Vanpac GroupAsia

If the customer packages the goods without our company's approval, any loss caused shall not be covered by the insurance, except the packing goods approved by our company.

3. Reset at destination

The insurance value must cover the final value of the cost of replacement at the destination. It may be difficult for customers to know the actual value of the goods at the destination, but they should have a good understanding of the cost of living in the country.

4. Assess the value of the goods

The value of the item will directly affect the average value of the claim. For example, if a $100 chair has a replacement cost of $200 at a replacement destination and claims for irreparable damage are considered to undervalue the item by 50%, the customer will only get 50% of the claim cost.

The customer needs to list the quantity of each item to be shipped and fill in the value next to the item in the list.

According to all items listed by the customer, we will calculate the insurance value of each column.

6. Underwriting of high-value articles

Any high-value item worth more than $500 must have a special declaration of value. Note that all claims may require proof of ownership, proof of value, and proof of loss or damage.

7. Storage during transportation

Please note that if the customer's goods need to be stored during transportation, please store them in the warehouse designated by our company. If the storage time exceeds 90 days, please inform our company in time so as to extend the insurance. If the storage location is not within this scope, the loss and damage of articles will not be covered.

Iv. The following circumstances are not covered by the insurance:

Loss or damage caused by any act of government, loss caused by confiscation by customs authorities or officials.

B depreciation of the value of goods due to delays in transport.

C shipper's self-packing items not approved by Vanpac GroupAsia.

D loss and damage of items due to packaging material problems.

E jewelry, precious stones, cash, currency, bank notes, deeds, traveler's checks, COINS, stamps, or prohibited items such as alcohol, beverage, food lost or damaged.

F loss or wear due to climatic conditions, change due to pests or inherent defects.

G no claim shall be made for damage or wear to electrical equipment, machinery or data inside any article, except for external damage during delivery.

H. Loss or damage not reimbursed until the insurance premium is received.

Loss or damage due to loss of control of the vehicle's own power.

Damage caused by war, nuclear reactions, radiation or radioactive contamination, caused by factors beyond human control.
